Hello up North... it's been a while. I'm returning to Greater Manchester to look at a short and perhaps fairly unknown motorway, the A627M. It connects Rochdale and Oldham, former mining and cotton towns.. because North of England.

At first, there's not a lot to see with the uneventful motorway doing it's thing for a couple of miles but right in the middle there is, what appears to me, to be a bit of "error" of judgement, see if you can spot it.

In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.
