Chad-O-Chef - Fireplace Remote Tutorial

Setting up your new remote-controlled fireplace for the first time? Make sure to watch this tutorial for a quick explanation of how it works. (This does not replace the instruction manual)

STEP 1: Inserting the batteries into the receiver and remote.
- The receiver is located inside the fireplace & requires 4 x AA Batteries
- The remote requires 2 x AAA Batteries Pro Tip
- Always use good quality batteries & avoid mixing old & new batteries together.

STEP 2: Ensure the Valve is in the correct position.
- Although this is set at the factory, it can move out of position during transportation.
- The Valve should be set to the 'ON' position & clicked into place.

STEP 3: Sync the remote to the receiver.
- This is a once of setting when you receive your new fireplace.
- Press in the reset button using a pen or something similar. Marke sure you hear 2 Beeps to activate the receiver.
- Within the next 20 seconds, hold down the "-" button on the remote & listen for 2 Beeps.

CONTROLLING THE FIREPLACE:
- Press down the power button & listen for 2 beeps to turn the fireplace on or off.
