In this video, we discuss the Moser Engineering Aluminum Cases for the 9" Ford. These aluminum cases save you 15 pounds compared to the nodular iron. They have holes in the pinion support for both the 3/8" and 7/16" pinion support studs. These can be used in street or strip cars and handle a lot of power. These cases have a lot of webbing, through bolt design, and American made. We can have a complete center section built in as fast as two days.

The 3.062" can be used up to a 33 spline spool also. 3.250" Bore case care used in 35 spline posi units. 3.250" Bore cases can also be used in most 35-40 spline spool applications. Some spools may require a 3.812" bore case. Contact us if you have fitment questions.

The 9" Ford Center section, third member, hog head, pumpkin, or whatever you like to call it... The center section is the heart of the rear where the gear, posi, and yoke are all setup. This chunk drops out the front of the housing and makes it really convenient to work on. Also, the third pilot bearing up front gives it additional rigidity and reduces gear deflection.
