This is a great little technique I learned from Ken Cardwell of Knivesandlanyards.com when I asked for suggestions on creating a 4-strand round braid loop for a lanyard without ending up with 8 strands. He shared his approach with me on the Usual Suspects Network forum, and it became a key component of my SkogKniv lanyard design.
