Anakin & Padme- Photograph

Hello there! So... I'm still procrastinating requests. I'm sorry guys! Anyway, there's a kind of interesting story for why I'm doing this video. I was on YouTube, listening to Ed Sheeran songs, and I randomly chose this one. Immedietly I realized it fit Anidala perfectly. I was inspired and I absolutely HAD to edit. So, I hope you guys enjoy watching this as much as I did making it. Let's talk about the video. The pictures with the silent film filter over them are the "photographs" that are sung about in the song. They're there for the instrumental sections of the song and whenever he mentions photographs. The video is about how even though their relationship ended tragically, they will always remember the happy parts. When the lyrics are "inside the pocket of your ripped jeans," the "ripped jeans" is referring to Vader's brokenness, both physically and emotionally. At the beginning of the video, it's Anakin singing. Some of the lyrics are "loving can hurt sometimes, and it's the only thing that I know." I feel like that's very true of Anakin. In every relationship he's been in, love always hurts. So in a way, that is the only thing that he knows. There's also a part that says, "It is the only thing that makes us feel alive." That's referring to their relationship. For Anakin, Padme is the only thing that makes him feel alive. She is his everything. The perspective shifts at the end of the chorus, and then it's Padme singing to Anakin. She's telling him that he can keep her memory forever, and she'll always be with him, so he won't ever be alone. Her verse starts with, "Loving can heal. Loving can mend your soul. And it's the only think that I know, know." I feel like this is also true of her character. You often see her in the position of comforter, or in other words, healing with love. After that, the point of view jumps around a lot. At the end, it's Padme's force ghost speaking to Anakin, telling him that she's still with him, and he won't ever lose her completely. The very last part is Anakin once more. The words are, "When I'm away, I will remember how you kissed me, under the lampost back on Sixth street, hearing you whisper through the phone. Wait for me to come home." I interpreted that to be Anakin saying that even though he has faltered and lost his way, he will always remember her, and someday he will come back to who he used to be.
