Psychology VS. Social Work: Which Is The Best Route for Aspiring Clinicians?

For those interested in being a clinician or therapist, you may be wondering if you should go the Social Work or Psychology route. In this video I talk about the pros and cons of both routes, and what may be a good fit for you based on your interest and how you would like to approach therapy and clinical work.

I have a bachelors in Psychology, as well as an MSW degree so I use the knowledge I gained in both areas to make this video. Also, if you go the Psychology route, you DON'T HAVE TO get a PHD in Psychology to be a therapist. You can also get an MA degree in counseling or Psychology and get certified to do therapy as well; but with this route you wont be able to use the title of "Clinical Psychologist".
