Rfissa (Traditional Moroccan dish)

Rfissa is a very traditional Moroccan dish made with certain pancakes topped with chicken sauce and lentils.

Chicken sauce Ingredients:
1.5 kg of chicken (دجاج)
1tbsp salt (ملح)
1tbsp ground turmeric (خرقوم)
1tbsp paprika (تحميرة)
1tbsp ground ginger (سكنجبير)
1tbsp black pepper (لبزار)
A pinch of saffron threads (optional)(زعفران)
1tsp Ras-El-Hanout
1tbsp fenugreek (optional) (حلبة)
2tbsp fermented butter (optional) (سمن)
3 cloves of garlic/ garlic powder (توم)
Fresh cilantro and parsley (قزبور و معدنوس)
2 large chopped onions
2 sliced onions
250g of Lentils (عدس)
1 cup of olive oil
1 cup of vegetable oil
