CTF E127: Make a Reusable Fabric Basket Style Coffee Filter

I hate "running out" of something. I hate dependency on the repurchase of an item in order to achieve my daily goals. If there is a way to make something that I will reuse, I try to find it. Years ago, I decided I was tired of running out of coffee filters and needing to go to the store. This was before online shopping, and online anything really. I sat down at my sewing machine with the last paper coffee filter in the house and asked myself, "How can I make this in a way that is economical, clean and efficient?" And I did. This is an easy project. If you don't have a sewing machine, you can fold the outer edge under twice and hand sew with a blanket stitch. I have a video on how to blanket stitch as well. Look around your house. What can you make to replace something you throw away?
