Abundant and Delicious Fruit! Harvesting Dwarf Bonanza Peaches in Phoenix, AZ

Описание к видео Abundant and Delicious Fruit! Harvesting Dwarf Bonanza Peaches in Phoenix, AZ

Welcome back to The Green Yard and a video I have been waiting to make. Our Dwarf Bonanza Peach tree is covered in peaches and they are ripe and ready to be eaten! The peach tree itself is originally from China but many variations and varieties have been created. The Bonanza Peach can grow in USDA zones 6-9 and do well where there is a moderate winter temperature. In Phoenix, Bonanza Peaches do great with our full summer sun and our moderately cold winters. They do not require any protection other than some shade the first year as they are getting established. They like a slightly acidic soil with a PH of 6.5 to 7 and agricultural sulfur is important to help these trees thrive in our alkaline soil. Our tree has been in the ground for almost three years and is loaded with dozens of delicious, sweet peaches.
