Tser Pool Encampment Story (Curse of Strahd)

Описание к видео Tser Pool Encampment Story (Curse of Strahd)

Way, way back at the first Vistani encampment we encountered, we asked what the deal was between Strahd (boo) and the Vistani (seem pretty cool, actually). Like, why are you guys friends with him? He's so lame! The answer was basically, "We do him favors and he lets us leave," but one old guy offered up this interesting but useless story about the origin of the relationship between Strahd and the Vistani. At least, I think this was the story. It was like a year ago in real time. Something like this.

The campfire in the background is some fake votive candles with Rockband drumsticks on top, and I am very proud of it. I also put up a fireplace video on my monitor. c o z y

This song works as a round (edit: I recorded it as a round:   / tser-pool-story-round  , but I wanted the lyrics to be audible. Speaking of which:

Once he was human.
A nobleman, Barov’s son,
With years of great conquests
In his father’s name.

He made many enemies,
And once was assailed by these,
They left him to die
When our ancestors came,

Took pity and saved him
He healed while he stayed with them
They taught him the value
Of life that is free.

His enemies found them,
Attacking the caravan,
Strahd fought, repelled them,
Courageously.

He fought off the hoard,
Just one man with his sword.

His courage astounded them,
With skill he confounded them,
Drove the attackers,
Away from their prey.

But knew heavy hearted,
He must must be departed.
He left the Vistani,
And went on his way.

Strahd made a vow
He upholds even now:

Vistani should always live free.
And so we, alone, can leave.
