World's first NIS 18 cat yawl on its first day' sail in Moreton Bay Queensland off the beach at Coochiemudlo Island. The Bruce Kirby designed Norwalk Islands Sharpies are ideally suited to thin water such as is found in Moreton Bay with extreme shallow draft and pivoting centreboards. The yawl version of the NIS 18 has the benefit over the ketch version of a cockpit that is uncluttered by the mizzen mast.
