In this episode of the Perspective Prog. based on Winter Session of Parliament. The Winter Session of Parliament is scheduled to begin from November 29, 2021 and will go on till 23rd December 2021. The government has listed 29 bills for the legislative agenda which includes 26 new bills to be introduced in Parliament during the Winter Session. Some of the key bills which govt has list d for introduction in this session include The Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021 which seeks to create a framework for official digital currency to be issued by the Reserve Bank of India, The Farm Laws repeal Bill 2021 which seeks to repeal The Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance, Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. The Trafficking of Persons (Prevention, Protection and Rehabilitation) Bill, 2021 and The Mediation Bill, 2021 are listed for introduction during this session. The Joint Parliamentary Committee report on the Personal Data Protection (PDP) Bill 2019 will also be presented in the Parliament. Opposition parties are also fine tunning their strategy for this session with several issues on their agenda.
