Various shots before Football Association Cup Final between Luton Town and Nottingham Forest show the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) meeting the Luton team. The two captains Sid Owen and Jack Burkitt exchange pennants at the centre line before the kick off. C/U of Queen Elizabeth talking to a man in the royal box.



Luton (white shirts) kick off. Various shots of the match. Roy Dwight scores a goal for Nottingham Forest. Players congratulate each other; the Queen applauds. Wilson scores again for Nottingham. Dwight falls to the ground after tackle by McNally and is carried off by St John's Ambulance men (broken shin bone). Luton take a corner. Half time.



In second half we see more shots of the match. C/U of Lord Bernard Montgomery applauding. Pacey scores for Luton. Final score is Nottingham Forest 2 Luton 1.



Nottingham captain Jack Burkitt leads his team up to receive the cup from the Queen. He shakes hands with her and holds the cup in the air. He kisses it twice.



Among other players seen are John Quigley, Stewart Imlach, Bobby McKinlay, Joe McDonald (Notts Forest) and Billy Bingham, Ron Baynham, Ken Hawkes, David Pacey, Sid Owen, Bob Morton and Brendan McNally (Luton Town).
