How to Add a Crochet Hoodie To Any Pattern | Modern V Stitch Hoodie For Pocket Shawl

In this video I share how to make a simple hoodie that can be added to an existing scarf, shawl , cowl or shrug. After I share the simple measuring and construction I will also share how to make the hood for my modern v stitch pocket shawl pattern. I hope you give it a try!

Notes: I chose 26" x 12" inches for my hood but you may want to go for a depth of 10" for a snugger fit.
I used the mattress stitch for attaching but I would also recommend the "invisible seam":

Measuring Overview:
1. Measure from shoulder to shoulder,
wrapping tape measure over your
heard to get height.
2. Measure front of forehead to back of
head to get depth.
3. Tip: Measure your favorite hoods
in your wardrobe to see what you already use.
4. Tip: Make a mock up before you start stitching to
test if you like the size.
5. Create your hood using the same stitches that you’re
wanting to add your hood to.

CROCHET US vs UK CROCHET
Chain (chn) is the same for both
