We're in the village of Lavenham, Suffolk, England today for a look around this incredibly well preserved medieval village and home and filming location to Harry Potter's childhood home from Ghostly Hallows Part 1.

Lavenham is often hailed as one of England's best-preserved medieval villages, offering visitors a step back in time with its remarkable timber-framed buildings and rich history. A central hub for tourism is the Lavenham Guildhall, a stunning 16th-century building managed by the National Trust. It stands as a testament to the village's past as a prosperous wool town, housing a museum that delves into the lives of the people who lived and worked there. The Guildhall also features a courtyard garden planted with traditional dye plants, reflecting Lavenham's famous "blue cloth" trade.

Beyond the Guildhall, Lavenham's streets are a feast for the eyes, lined with over 300 listed buildings. Among the most popular and photographed is the distinctive "Crooked House," which dates back to 1395.
