Automation allows you to add endless creative texture, color and feel to your music. I used to be intimidated by automation, thinking it was something beyond me that “I shouldn’t mess with” --after finding out the several different and all EASY ways to automate in Cakewalk, it’s a whole new world of creative possibility!
I show you automating with the mouse, with the draw tool, and with your MIDI controller, and I touch on automating busses as well.
