Cask Strength Blind Tasting: Benrinnes 21, Singleton 14, Roseisle 12, Mortlach Special Releases 2024

I'll pick a winner from each group of 4, and then, on December 27th, I will match up the winners against each other to determine the 2024 Diageo Special Release champion.

This week, the competitors in the "Barley Bowl" are:

1. Benrinnes 21 YEAR "Grand Crescendo", 55.4%, Refill Bourbon, Then Transferred to Seasoned American Oak, European Oak, and STR Casks

2. Singleton (Glen Ord) 14 Year "Autumn Walk", 54.7%, Bourbon and Rejuvenated Wine Casks Finished in European and Pyrenean Oak

3. Roseisle 12 Year "Origami Kite", 55.6%, Refill and 1st Fill Bourbon Matured

4. Mortlach "Midnight Dusk" (NAS). 57.5%, Refill and 1st Fill Bourbon Matured, Finished in Ramandolo & Sangiovese Casks
