Escort to The Crown - 25th Anniversary of Scottish Parliament

Saturday 28th September 2024 saw the 25th Anniversary of The Scottish Parliament marked by a keynote speech from His Majesty King Charles III.

The Crown of Scotland is driven in Rolls Royce 1 from it's home in Edinburgh Castle to The Scottish Parliament building by "The Escort to The Crown".

The escort comprised the following:
- 2 SCOTS Pipes, Drums & Bugles
- The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland
- The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards
- Rolls Royce 1 with The Crown of Scotland under the watchful eye of The Duke of Hamilton
- The Scots Guards (F Company)
- Edinburgh Garrison Sergeant Manjor (GSM) WO1 David Hunter

I follow the parade from the GSM appearing from Edinburgh Castle with Rolls Royce 1 to The Duke of Hamilton taking The Crown into The Scottish Parliament, a full 30 minute walk!
