Does your iPhone not ring when someone calls? Hello friends, I’m Jay. In this video, I’ll guide you through ten solutions to fix the iPhone not ringing problem. Let’s watch the video to get your phone ringing again.
Here are some reasons why your iPhone might not ring for incoming calls:
1. Turn off silent mode.
Swipe down from the top right corner to open the control center.
Tap the bell with the slash icon to turn off silent mode.
2. Check and turn off Airplane Mode.
Swipe down from the top right corner to open the control center.
Tap the airplane icon to turn it off.
You can also do this from the Settings app. Launch the Settings app, turn off the toggle next to airplane mode, and that’s it.
3. Turn off Bluetooth.
Launch the Settings app and navigate to the Bluetooth section.
Turn off the toggle next to Bluetooth.
4. Turn off Do Not Disturb or Focus mode.
Swipe from the top right corner to open the control center.
Tap the focus mode option to check if it’s enabled.
Then, tap to turn it off.
These solutions should fix the iPhone not ringing problem.
Check your iPhone’s ringer volume.
Launch the Settings app, swipe up, and tap Sounds and Haptics. Ensure the Ringtone and Alerts slider is up.
Enable the toggle next to Change with buttons to avoid accidentally lowering the ringtone volume.
If you still can’t receive calls, check your Phone Settings.
On your iPhone home screen, open the Settings app, swipe down, and tap Apps. Swipe up and find Phone. Swipe up to Silence Unknown Callers and toggle it off. This allows all incoming calls from contacts and unknown callers.
Check call forwarding settings. If it’s on, your iPhone may not ring. Swipe to Calls, go to Call Forwarding, and turn it off.
If you’ve mistakenly added a friend’s number to blocked calls, swipe up and tap Blocked Contacts. Swipe right to left to unblock.
If the contact is in the Phone app’s recent list, tap the i button next to the contact and select “Unblock Caller.”
Sometimes, this may be a bug. Fix it with a Force Restart.
Press and release the volume up and down buttons, then press and hold the side power button until you see the Apple logo.
Release the power button and wait for the restart. Then, unlock your iPhone and call from another device to check if it’s ringing.
Don’t forget to keep your iPhone updated to the latest software update.
Launch the Settings app, tap General, and tap Software Update. Check for an update and install it if available.
After installing the new iOS update, check if the problem is solved.
If you have a physical SIM, ensure it’s inserted properly and functioning.
If you face cellular signal issues, try resetting your iPhone’s network settings.
Go to the settings app, select general, swipe up to the bottom, tap on Transfer, and reset your iPhone.
Select the reset option, tap on Reset Network Settings, and enter your iPhone passcode.
Check and make everyone’s screen time limit available.
Launch the settings app, swipe to screen time, tap on communication limits, and select “Everyone” for during screen time.
If this doesn’t work, contact Apple Support.
Launch Safari and visit the official Apple support website. Sign in with your Apple ID and describe your problem under “Tell us what’s happening.” Follow the instructions on the video screen.
