I admire the opportunity to travel to South Goa lately in the month of March 2021. This vlog is a compilation of the things I did in South Goa besides the wonderful beaches and places.

This goa trip is really close to my heart. Everything happened all of a sudden without any concrete plan. We were supposed to go Hampi in March but due to Covid and lockdown restrictions in Karnataka we had to choose Goa rather than turning off the whole plan. Goa restrictions were not that strict. No Corona test was mandatory.

Whenever I plan any trip, I always make sure that I should never cross Rs. 5000 (I know sometimes it will go here and there but if you decide the budget then nothing can stop you to have the budget trip, Agreed right?)

Let’s talk about our Goa trip now, Goa has divided in North and South. I always heard North goa has a good vibe but lot of chaos and crowd. So, chances of getting corona positive might have increased, we don’t want to get harm or surrounded by bunch of people where we can’t control the crowd.

I already red about the South goa culture and calm, peaceful beaches with very less crowd. So, we decided to stay at Palolem beach, South Goa. From this place we managed to travel to other decided places. We had Pre booked our stay for 26th March 2021 to 29th March 2021 in Palolem at Coconut Groove resort. They have only Non AC rooms and No AC rooms, facility of cooler was there but not in every room. That costed us 800 per night. 3 people can easily accommodate in that room. Rooms were average and very basic. In winters this is really affordable option but for summer big NO. We stayed here for a night only reason being Goa got really humid and hot in March end so we had to move to another place which has AC.

We found (Presley's, Beach front cottages, Palolem beach.) It offered great beach view.. 3 to 4 people can easily manage in one room. With no extra charges for mattresses. That was steal deal. This place has beach front dining area as well. But food is very costly and quantity served was ideally enough for one person and hardly 2 people would have share the food. For the price this is decent option.

When you are in goa don't miss Parasailing and other adventures. Rest detailed information is in the video above. Now let's have a look at Rs. 5000 breakdown.

Goa trip total expenses per head:

Train ticket:
1. Mumbai to Margaon - Rs. 540
2. Margaon To Mumbai - Rs. 470
3. Bike rent for 4 days - Rs. 600
(Rs. 300 per day, Contact: Guru Kote +91 79727 19764; +91 98221 34393)
4. Petrol for used for 3 nights 4 days - Rs. 600
5. Stay at Hotel Blonels, Colva Beach - Rs. 250
(From 25th March midnight to 26th March afternoon till 12 pm, I don't recommend this place at all, no hygiene, no cleanliness. Still if you wish to book then you can book from Agoda.com and many other booking sites on Google)
6. Food - Rs. 1300 for 3 nights 4 days.
7. Stay at Palolem - Rs. 350
(The Coconut Grove, offered us one room for 700 per day, They don't have website for booking but they take online bookings from Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Tivago, etc. For offline bookings contact Mr. Kiran Pagi +91 95799 56884 and Rupesh Pagi +91 95459 58337)
8. Presleys - Rs. 890 for 2 nights
(Usual Charges 1500 per day, we stayed three people in one room. Contact, Monica +91 98818 82346 and Sanju Pagi +91 98235 32648)

9. Kayaking - 200 for an Hour (Dom +91 97653 83598)
10. Parasailing - 800
(It was worth doing. Location- Betalbatim, Gonsua, Goa. Contact- Fanny Elaine Dasilva +91 98221 79179 and +91 99212 65431)
11. I also did shopping of Rs. 1500 almost at Palolem market.
(Never miss the shopping opportunity here for beachy/ easy breezy cloths, accessories, magnets, souvenirs, spices and condiments, Goan food items, etc)

If I add from point 1 to 8 then total is Rs. 5000 so that is how I curated and managed to keep in 5000.
(Point no. 9, 10, and 11 I do not count in because those are personal expenses and that will not get count in budget trip as per me)

Goa trips major requirements: Bunch of friends, An open mind, A kind heart, and don't forget to wear a smile. So pack your bags and leave for Goa!!
