Our baby takin, Wǔshí, was born on December 28, 2010 at around 2:45 in the afternoon. He was given his name, which means 50 in Mandarin Chinese, because he is the 50th takin born to us. You can see his adorable antics in our takin exhibit in the Polar Rim.
