Lead White Oil Paint Alternatives: Vasari, Sennelier, Charvin

Heads up, sorry for video quality and rambling 😆 Here I'm demonstrating some different options for lightening up warm colors. Flake white (aka lead white) used to be my first choice, it's warm gentle way of mixing lends beautifully to creating mixtures that retain more chroma than the typical titanium white. There are some environmental drawbacks to using it (and toxicity concerns if you're not a neat painter or have kids and pets). So I was always trying to find a better way that didn't involve painstakingly capturing all of my brush cleaning water. There are so many different ways to lighten or brighten up warm colors. A couple of these I just stumbled onto by chance, and I hope some of this is useful for those who see this.
