Over the course of 2011 Suffused have built themselves up into one of Lithuania's top progressive house exports.

Along with Hypnotic Duo and Weepee Suffused have really put Lithuania on the progressive house map so to speak. Benjaminas Bagdonas and Tomas Šereikis make up the Suffused production team and after hooking up with Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's Mistiquemusic label at the beginning of this year their fan base has grown immensely. This week finds Ben and Tom on Mistique Digital for the release of their 'Dark Soul' single which comes with remixes from: Advents Rising, Hypnotic Duo and Simuck. The 'Dark Soul' original shot into the Release Promo top 20 in just under a week and with it's tough groove and cool atmospheric tendencies it's not hard to see why. This track is just oozing with atmosphere and quality, the pristinely produced drums give the groove so much pop and with all the gloomy pads and rough electronics you've got the makings of a perfect mood setting piece. Top stuff from Suffused.

The first remix on the package is supplied by a newcomer to Mistique, Advents Rising. Panos Talianis aka Advents Rising hails from Greece and his previous 5 releases have all come courtesy of No Border Recordings. His debut remix for Mistique Digital is solid with a bouncy progressive groove laying the framework for the dark overtones that sweep over top of it. After a short break some lovely key changes come over the bassline which work nicely with the meaty synth elements stay true to the sinister theme from the original. Solid remix from Advents Rising.

Hypnotic Duo provide the next remix for their Suffused countrymen and they've added a lot of cool elements to their mix. A hook heavy lead synth does a lot for the groove and also adds a brilliant hypnotic effect. The key changes on the lead are quite unique and very fresh sounding which should keep the attention of your dancefloor with ease. A spacey breakdown provides a nice transition as a glassy textured soundscape sweeps across the framework before the hypnotic groove is dropped back in for a nice finish.

Simuck who also hails from Lithuania closes the package out with the final remix on the package. Simonas Kapucinskas aka Simuck was responsible for a couple of progressive house classics from many years ago which he wrote with Greek producer Andrew K, 'Clouds Go By' was probably the most well known and earned huge support from Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo. For Simuck's 'Dark Soul' remix he has really stripped the track down and gone for a cool minimal groove which is a perfect complement to the other progressive versions on the package. It's a refined groove with some interesting effects and lovely hypnotic elements which only enhance the deep and forward thinking vibe. Very cool stuff from Simuck and a huge release for Suffused and Mistique Digital.
