On 1st August 2025, a BOLD voice entered the world of digital journalism, a voice that is committed to truth, community, and fearless storytelling. That voice is IMAAN NEWS, a YouTube-based digital news channel, created with a singular purpose: to present current affairs, social issues, and national and global events through the lens of the Muslim experience.

At the heart of this bold new initiative is Sayed Asif Jah, a veteran journalist with four decades of experience in Indian media. Over the years, he has worked with some of the most respected newspapers, magazines, and television news channels in the country, reporting in Hindi, English, and Urdu — the three major languages that speak to the heart of India. Among his many leadership roles, he notably served as Mumbai head for TVI, India’s first news television channel.
