Welcome to Nonchai’s world — where elephants, culture, and adventure come alive.
I’m Nonchai, a seventh-generation elephant keeper from the Karen Hill Tribe of northern Thailand. While the Karen migrated from Myanmar centuries ago (many arriving in Thailand in the 18th century), the tradition of domesticating elephants in Thailand goes back nearly 4,000 years.
For my tribe, elephants are not just animals—they are family, teachers, and living symbols of our culture. I am proud to carry forward our tribal legacy, passed down for generations.
On this channel, I share:
— Untold stories of our elephants
— Life with their keepers
— Karen culture, with roots reaching back centuries
— Adventures from the jungle and our village
Join me to support ethical elephant care, preserve our traditions, and explore stories that few have heard.
