Peter Bovolaneas was diagnosed with testicular cancer twice. The first time was in 2002 at the age of 26 and the second was five years later.

He underwent treatment at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and is thankful for the excellent care he received.

Peter has now been 12 years cancer free and along the way has celebrated many milestones, including getting married.

“I got to live to see some really great moments. I didn’t know that I was going to pull through. I was completely terrified of what was going to come next and I got the care that I needed to get through (at The Princess Margaret),” says Peter.

He now encourages everyone to buy a Princess Margaret Home Lottery ticket to give back to patients on a cancer journey.
