Lowepro Photosport 200AW Review & Landscape Photography Gear Discussion / Recommendations

I made this video 2 years ago. I have since learned a ton about both photography and hiking, and have become far more experienced in both areas. My typical gear now consumes far less space and weight, and this bag is now actually overkill for most of my outings. It will comfortably fit one 35mm sized body and two lenses if they are small. If you have a bigger 35mm lens, it'll have to go in the upper compartment with the rest of your gear. The bag is very good for certain applications, I'd just suggest having another bag or two, one bigger and one smaller so you can grab the best one for each trip. That's what I do now. No bag is perfect, but this one is a useful tool to keep in your photography arsenal.


In this video I review the Lowepro Photosport 200AW backpack in the context of landscape, adventure and travel photography uses, and cover some other options that are better suited to longer and more technical hiking and trekking.
