Jeep Trail Ride to Orange Lake at Green Swamp Wildlife Management Area Florida

We packed some snacks and headed back to the Green Swamp WMA to see what we could find. We decided to try some of the offshoots and glad we did. At Orange Lake we found the wildlife we had been looking for. A lot of the gators scattered when the Jeep in front of us let the dogs out, but we still managed to see them.

The trails are very easy and mostly dry. On dry days you don't need 4x4. You may get pin-stripped but for the most part it's well maintained.

After that we went into the area a bit deeper and took another offshoot. It had a completely different look then the Orange Lake road. Almost a tropical version of Colorado with how the pine trees looked and smelled.
