Improve your Tai Chi; Whole body connection; Body Mechanics for Longevity, and Effortless Strength

Описание к видео Improve your Tai Chi; Whole body connection; Body Mechanics for Longevity, and Effortless Strength

In this video I am going to Improve your Tai Chi by demonstrating Whole body connection resulting in good Body mechanics for longevity and effortless strength. I am going to demonstrate striking an item with whole body connection versus just using the arm. I then will take you through several deeper levels of improving your Tai Chi and your whole body connection through mind body connection, Qi, Yi (intention) and Yin/Yang balance of giving and receiving.

When we connect our whole body, it improves Qi energy flow, creates effortless strength, and generates good posture for daily activities. This helps to provide longevity, preserving your joints for your lifetime and giving you joint pain relief. By using whole body connections and adding mind body connection, you will gain an overall improvement in your Tai Chi, or taiji. Since Tai Chi, also knows and Tai Chi Chuan, is among the martial arts, it is imperative that we keep certain body mechanics for optimum Tai Chi benefits and power. It is best to learn tai chi with these key principles of whole body connection right from the start. When your body is aligned and you have good posture and whole body connection, you can move better, with greater ease of movement and less strain on your body. You are better able to open your joints, which is called "song" or “sung” to generate more Qi flow, or Chi energy, which helps with healing and health. Whether your kung fu study is Tai Chi, Qigong, jujitsu, aikido, or any of the martial arts, keeping your body moving as a whole will develop more power, more strength and more Qi with less effort.

When I strike the item in the video, I will first teach you the physical whole body connection, which is simple body mechanics and promotes good posture. This in turn gives you good posture, excellent body mechanics for generating power and strength. Then I will introduce you to the mind body connection. I will use Yi, or intention and you see will the difference in the striking power. I will add another component of mind body connection by illustrating the giving and receiving or yin/yang relationship in our body which greatly ramps up the strength and power when I strike the bolster. I will teach you to “song” or “sung” your joints, which in turn also creates more strength, more calm structure in your body mechanics and more Qi energy or life energy.

Throughout the demonstration, except for the first example where I am not using Tai Chi foundational principles, I am not using muscles. Rather we are going much deeper into our skeletal system and utilizing our tendons, ligaments and fascia to create a force that is obviously demonstrated in this video.
