Sleepsong - Secret Garden (Harp Cover)

This week I played my little harp near a plum tree with beautiful white blossoms. Unfortunately, the sound of the birds was overshadowed by the noise of a construction site nearby and the passing trucks. Therefore I rerecorded the sound at home.

Secret Garden is an Irish-Norwegian band consisting of Irish violinist and singer Fionnuala Sherry and Norwegian composer, arranger and pianist Rolf Løvland. They won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1995 with 'Nocturne'. Their music is mainly instrumental. This particular song is part of their album 'Earthsongs'.

Lately, the video where this song is used as a tribute for Aragorn and Arwen's love story was recommended to me very often on Youtube, so I decided to arrange the song for my little harp! The sheet music can be purchased on sheetmusicplus (see link below).
