Today we made Spaghetti Gamberetti.

Recipe:
Heat some water till it boils and let it cool a little. Make a crosscut on the top of the medium sized tomatoes and put them in the hot water for at least 5 minutes. Take them out and let them cool down. Peel the skin and cut the tomatoes into little pieces.

Chop the onion and the garlic.

Pour some olive oil into a pan and season the prawns with salt and pepper while the pan is getting hot.
Bring water (2litres)) in a big pot to a boiling.

Fry the prawns for a minute at high to medium heat and put them aside. Those will be added later. Pour the liquid from the prawns back to the pan and fry the onion and the garlic for a minute. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and let it cook for a couple of minutes at medium heat. Season a little with salt and pepper. Half the the cherry tomatoes and put them aside for later. Add the spaghetti to the pot as soon as the water boils and cook it according to package instructions.

Now add the cream to the pan. Rub some nutmegg and sprinkle it over the sauce.

Let the sauce simmer till it thickens. Finely chop some basil and add it to the pan.
Rub some parmesan and add it to the pan as well. This will help the sauce to thicken .

Keep stiring the sauce till the spaghetti is cooked.

Lift out the spaghetti directly from the pot with some boiling water and add it to the sauce. The dripping water from the pasta will give the sauce more flavour and thickens it even more.

Finally put all Ingredients we put aside (tomatoes, prawns) to the pasta into the pan with some fresh basil and mix everything together.

Serve it on a plate, rub some parmesan over it and garnish with some fresh ground pepper (optional) and some basil leaves.

Kingprawns
Olive oil
Tomatoes 3 medium sized
Handful cherry tomatoes
1 Onion
1-2 Garlic toes
Basil
Parmesan
Spaghetti (250gr)
Cream (200ml)
Nutmeg
Salt, pepper
