MUSIC TEACHER RESOURCES - Snail, Snail

Описание к видео MUSIC TEACHER RESOURCES - Snail, Snail

MUSIC TEACHING TIPS: Great for primary grades, students start in a circle holding hands, but the teacher only holds hands with one of the people they're standing next to. Then they lead the line slowly in to create a spiral, and in the middle they turn around and lead the students back out to a circle. It's important that the teacher walks very slowly so that students don't end up pulling each other, especially as the spiral unravels. The students will end up facing toward the outside of the circle when they do it one time, so you can repeat the activity to have them end up the way they started (facing the center of the circle). The words are "Snail, snail, snail, snail/Goes around, around, around." This can be used to teach the solfege syllable "la," to work on singing in tune, or to practice following the person in front of you safely. This is great for kindergarten and first grade (elementary school).
