Prayer
Father God,
We come before You today with humble hearts, carrying all the labels the world has stuck on us. "Not enough." "Too broken." "Too far gone." "Unwanted." "Forgotten." We've carried them for so long that some of us forgot they weren't true. But today, in Your presence, we lay them down at Your feet.
Lord, we ask You: who are we, really? Not according to our past. Not according to our failures. Not according to the voices that have spoken lies over us. But according to You—the only voice that matters.
And Your Word thunders back with truth: We are welcomed by the highest King. Not because we earned it, but because You love us. We were lost, but You brought us in. Not because we found our way, but because You came looking for us.
We are free. Not partially free, not almost free—completely, eternally, unshakably free. Because the Son has set us free, and we are free indeed. Every chain of shame, every shackle of guilt, every bond of fear—shattered by the blood of Jesus.
We are children of God. Not orphans. Not servants. Not strangers. Children. With all the rights, all the inheritance, all the belonging that comes with being part of Your family. In our Father's house, there is a place for us. A room prepared. A seat at the table. A home where we will always belong.
We are chosen. Not rejected. Not overlooked. Chosen before the foundation of the world, known by name, wanted by the King of Kings.
We are not forsaken. You have never left us. You will never leave us. In the darkest valley, You are there. In the deepest waters, You are there. In the loneliest night, You are closer than our own breath.
You are for us. Not against us. Every accusation falls silent because You have already acquitted us. Every enemy retreats because You have already won.
So today, we declare: we are who You say we are. Not who the world says. Not who the enemy whispers. Not who our fears scream. But who YOU say.
Forever we are Yours. Forever we are loved. Forever we are free.
