Fitting the NEW Wheel and Tire Setup on the RSX Type S! | Track or Street?

In today's video, the Acura RSX Type-S gets a NEW aggressive wheel & tire setup! Lightweight Konig Heliograms and sticky Nitto NT01's. We unbox the wheels, mount them, and give the RSX a test fit to see what fender work needs to be done! This would be a perfect Honda track setup for most, or in my case...the ADA backroad special. New year, new wheels! I've been loving the Konig Neoforms on the RSX, but I've been wanting something with a more aggressive fitment for summer. After all, one of the best mods for a Honda is a tastefully wider set of wheels! These new Konig Heliograms are a 17X8.5 with a 38 offset and fill out the fenders beautifully! For the tires I went with Nitto's track focused NT01 (225/45/17) with a super aggressive tread pattern and side profile. These things look MEAN and are going to stick like crazy. With a couple changes on the coilovers and getting the RSX's fenders rolls, this have a perfect stance.

We take the new setup down to Discount tire Greg (my go-to) who mounts up the tires. The 225 tire on a 8.5 inch wheel is perfectly flush with no noticeable stretch. Upon doing the test fit, the rear fenders definitely need to be rolled. The fronts are PERFECT. Overall, I think this set looks SO good and I can't wait to rock it come spring time!
