RIDOT receives no bids to rebuild westbound Washington Bridge

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said Wednesday that it received no bids to rebuild the westbound Washington Bridge.

Submissions were due by noon.

RIDOT said it will evaluate its request for proposals before putting the project out to bid again.

The bridge connects Providence and East Providence.
