Product Review: Athearn Genesis GP38-2, Illinois Central Gulf, October 2021

In late September 2021, Athearn released is latest production run of GP38-2s. Included in this release were 4 unique road numbers for the Illinois Central Gulf railroad. Two of the locomotives were painted in ICG's orange/white livery while two were painted in the orange and gray "simplified" paint scheme. All four locomotives have Tsunami 2 DDC/sound.
