This is part 1 of a 3 part series reviewing the Walthers Mainline SW7 which was released in August 2021. Because of my previous issues with the ESU Essential Sound Unit decoders which Walthers uses in their DCC/sound Mainline locomotives, I purchased the DC only version which is DCC ready with a next18 plug. This video series will address the installation and operation of these new locomotives!
