【사의 찬미 - 나비드】 윤심덕 원곡 가사 버전 ┃ 다뉴브강의 잔물결 (도나우 강의 잔물결)

그녀는 촉망받는 극작가 김우진과 함께 바다에 몸을 던졌습니다. 다음날 언론은 두 사람이 함께 껴안고 뛰어내린 것이 사실인 것처럼 보도했지만, 실제로 두 사람의 마지막 모습을 목격한 사람은 아무도 없었습니다. 유서나 시신도 없어 어떻게 목숨을 끊었는지, 정말 뛰어내린 것인지조차 명확하지 않았습니다.

사고 이틀 뒤, 그녀가 사고 직전 ‘오사카 니토 레코드’에서 27곡을 녹음했다는 사실이 밝혀졌습니다. 원래 계약은 26곡이었는데, 윤심덕은 무슨 이유에서인지 한 곡을 더 녹음하자고 제안했습니다. 루마니아 작곡가 이오시프 이바노비치(Iosif Ivanovici)가 작곡한 ‘다뉴브강의 잔물결’에 윤심덕이 가사를 붙이고 그녀의 동생 윤성덕이 피아노 반주를 해서 탄생한 곡이 바로 ‘사의 찬미’입니다.

윤심덕의 노래를 들을 때면 돌아가신 할머니의 목소리가 살아나는 것 같습니다. 가수가 꿈이었던 할머니와 어머니의 이루지 못한 꿈을 제가 실현하며 살아가고 있는 오늘날, 이 노래를 100여 년 된 보물상자에서 꺼내어 불러 봅니다.

“Yoon Sim-deok” is Korea’s first soprano vocalist and a representative of the new women of the 20th century.

She threw herself into the sea with the promising playwright Kim Woo-jin. The next day, the media reported as if it were true that the two of them hugged together and jumped, but no one actually witnessed their last appearance. There were no suicide notes or bodies, so it wasn’t even clear how the two took their lives or whether they really jumped.

Two days after the accident, it was revealed that she recorded 27 songs on “Osaka Nitto Records” just before the accident. The original contract was 26 songs, but Yoon Sim-deok suggested recording one more song for some reason. Yoon Sim-deok added lyrics to “Ripples of the Danube” composed by Romanian composer Iosif Ivanovici, and her younger brother Yoon Sung-deok accompanied the piano to create “Hymn of Death”

When I listen to Yoon Sim-deok’s song, I think the voice of my late grandmother comes alive. Today, when I live my grandmother and mother’s unfulfilled dreams of becoming a singer, I take this song out of a 100-year-old treasure box and sing it.
