Windmüller - Dance with Keine Kunst

Windmüller, or Windmüller aus Scheeßel, is a dance for four couples. The country of origin is believed to be Sweden, but it is well known in a town in Northern Germany called Scheeßel. This dance features a hopping step, or a Hüpfschritten, throughout the entire dance. This step is unique as it is in triplet timing. In musical terms, triplets are three notes that take place over two beats evenly. In this dance it is important that you perform this step in triplet fashion as opposed to a normal step hop like in schottisch dances. There is another dance called Windmüller aus Lüneburg that should not be confused with this dance as it is very different.

The leading couples are in the middle of the screen to start, while the following couples are on the left and right.
