Extreme Heat, No Water: The Bedouin's Impossible Life | Global Kannadiga | Jordan

Impossible to imagine a life in the middle of a desert surrounded by Rocky Mountains, A whole family leaves just inside of Wadi Rum's Protected area. This place looks like another planet. As me and my fellow traveller ‪@UmaTeluguTraveller‬ start our road journey to explore Jordan we stop at this place by instinct and as we walk towards a home in the middle of nowhere we encounter a young boy called Mohammed and he shows us his humble abode, later he brings and serves us tea and that is when we ask how do you source the water? and he shows us a Mountain and up there he says is a stream from which we collect water. We both express our interest to see the stream up in the mountains. It takes us almost a hour and a half to hike through the rocky terrain and finally when we see this place it was truly amazing. we quenched our thirst first and later witness this lovely green place with small streams of water passing through rocks. we relax a bit like the bedouins do and later we hike down and we leave after waving a big goodbye to dear mohammed who showed what true Bedouin hospitality is all about and we start to drive ahead towards wadi rum village which we will be exploring next.
