Night Ride was the second episode in the Night Walk series. It was filmed along with Night Walk in one night on May 2, 1986 and began airing after Night Walk on the early morning of June 22, 1986.

The Night Walk series, considered an early example of "slow TV," was filmed in Toronto in 1986 and aired nightly between 2:30 and 6 a.m. on the Global Television Network in Ontario from 1986 until the summer of 1993. Video directed by Bill Elliott. Steadicam: David Crone.
