Night Walk (1986) Toronto Slow TV [1 of 10 in series]

The first episode in the Night Walk TV series was filmed in one night in Toronto on May 2, 1986, and was scheduled to begin airing the next morning, originally at 4 a.m. and then at 2:30 a.m. weeknights and 3:30 a.m. on weekend nights beginning on June 22, 1986.

The series, considered an early example of "slow TV," was an alternative to an overnight test pattern with the same episode of Night Walk, Night Ride and Night Moves repeated nightly between 2:30 and 6 a.m. on the Global Television Network in Ontario from 1986 until the summer of 1993.
