Here you will learn how to prepare and cut the section
It is difficult to cut the thin transverse section of the leaf. To make it easy take small potato..or you can use other soft vegetables. Raw papaya pumpkin etc..cut it into small cubes..just like in the video. This cube is a block of pith.

Procedure-
1- Select a fresh leaf for the section cutting of leaf
2- Wah it properly for the section cutting of leaf
3- Select a sharp blade and a piece of potato for the section cutting of leaf
4- Now place the leaf in a small piece of potato and cover it and start cutting the leaf for the section cutting of leaf
5- Place the cut leaf portion in freshwater to prevent them from drying
6- Now select a perfect leaf and place on glass slide and place on a Petri dish having a dye for few minutes so that it may take color
7- Now place the leaf section in a glass slide and place a drop of glycerine and cover it with a coverslip
8- Now slide is ready for the section observation
