DUNBURY ACES / HOFZINSER CARD PROBLEM

Here you have an extract of the close up gala that took place at @huerta_la_cansina in 2017, where Gabi was one of the performers. The first trick, a version of the “Dunbury delusion” with a surprising ending has been in his repertoire for more than 30 years, and although he preferred to perform his “Doctor Couè test” version (similar effect but with a completely different taste) he sometimes still presented this effect. The second trick is a very simple version (but still very effective) of the Hofzinser problem with four aces and a chosen card. Sorry about the English subtitles! They’re far from perfect but at least you can understand the performance.

Aquí tenéis un extracto de la gala de cerca que tuvo lugar en @huerta_la_cansina en 2017, donde Gabi fue uno de los actuantes. El primer juego, una versión del “Dunbury Delusion” con un final sorpresa lleva más de 30 años en su repertorio, y aunque prefería realizar su versión del “test del Doctor Couè” (efecto similar pero con un sabor completamente distinto) de vez en cuando le gustaba presentar este efecto. El segundo juego es una versión muy simple (pero muy efectiva) del problema de Hofzinser con cuatro ases y una carta elegida. ¡Perdón por los subtítulos en inglés! Están lejos de ser perfectos, pero al menos los no hispanohablantes pueden seguir la actuación.
