Ep. #02 | Tritone Subs

Here we take a look at tritone subs, what they are and why a Bb7 chord or melody can resolve to A the same way that an E7 can resolve to A, and what are the important notes that create the voice-leading in that resolution.

Next episode we will use this idea of tritone subs, apply it to the Charlie Christian Bb7 lick we learned in episode 01, and we'll try to get a glimpse as to what Charlie Christian might have sounded like if he had lived a year or two longer!
