Sky News host Peta Credlin says the “hysteria” of the government’s attack on Opposition leader Peter Dutton is revealing amid debate over nuclear energy.

Ms Credlin’s remarks come after the Coalition unveiled its long-awaited nuclear energy policy, revealing plans to construct seven reactors in locations across Australia.

Ms Credlin questioned Labor’s statements on nuclear energy being dumb, uneconomic, unsafe, and would take too long.

“I reckon it’s now game on for the next election and that Dutton has given himself every chance to win,” she said.

“This government’s riding for a fall. Hypocrisy, thy name is Labor.”
