Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says “it’s been clear for some time” Australians want the government to consider nuclear energy.

“I think that has been the outcome of the fact that their electricity bills have been going through the roof,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“While they are being told a lie that renewable energy will bring them down.”
