Gaanamoorthe, set to Ganamurti Ragam and Adi Talam is a Kirtanam composed by Saint Thyagaraja, who says

O Embodiment of music Sri Krishna! One who loves playing the flute! Protector of the three worlds! Pray protect me. One who stole the heart of Rukmini, the jewel among women and Creator of Cupid! One who steals butter, son of Nanda, and friend of Arjuna. O Courageous! O Narasimha! O Brave one! Having the hue of the dark clouds! Brother of goddess Parvati! Destroyer of Narakasura, O Beginningless! Pray protect me.

It is a beautiful kirtanam and we have tried to do justice to this sublime piece whilst adding a few non traditional instruments to the mix…and of course outstanding Kuchipudi choreography
