Soloing Secrets - Uli Jon Roth

Описание к видео Soloing Secrets - Uli Jon Roth

Hey everybody! Here's the next episode of Soloing Secrets with Uli Jon Roth. I've had a number of requests to feature more of Uli's music, and while I did feature him in a Three-For-All episode a few years ago, this time we're doing a deep-dive into his classic and massively influential style of lead guitar and a hitting a number of his trademark ideas along the way - so let's dive in!

Uli's name may not be of the household variety, but his music and musical influence in rock, hard rock, metal, and shred guitar music cannot be argued or denied - he's every bit as essential as other guitar legends from his era (including Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, and countless others), but he's widely considered the "godfather" of neoclassical rock/metal - and this lesson reveals some of this history and influence.

The ideas shared in this lesson range from music pulled from Uli's solo project Electric Sun, to a variety of music from his days playing in the Scorpions during the 1970s. This includes sections from songs such as 'Catch Your Train.' 'First Light,' 'Sails Of Charon,' 'Electric Sun,' and 'Pictured Life' to name a few.

Needless to say, if you're a fan of Uli Jon Roth's music, an early Scorpions fan, a hard rock/metal-minded guitarist, or a player searching for some new ideas to stick into their bag of tricks - this lesson is totally for you.
