🍊Dolmuş
In Türkiye and Northern Cyprus, a dolmuş (pronounced doll-moosh) is a minibus that runs set routes within and between cities. It was probably the main type of public transportation before the arrival of modern transit trains and buses.

🍉RESTORATION OF A ROMAN PAVILION
The restoration works of the 2,000-year-old ancient Roman theatre have been ongoing since 2020 as part of the Archaeopark Project.
However, the excavations of the area started in the 1980s, when many statues and objects were unearthed.

🥝When preparing the text for this video, I came across this Ankara Roman Ruins Walking Tour blog [🌐https://www.gpsmycity.com/tours/ankar...]. I regretted that I did not include the Roman Bath in my itinerary. The bath is located just about 700m west from Haci Bayram Square. I was heading east to go to Ankara Kalesi (1kmEast from the square). So, I missed it.

The Roman Bath Ruins were uncovered by excavations carried out in 1937-1944 and subsequently opened to the public as an open-air museum.

🥝 A restoration of Ottoman buildings within the inner castle. Not far down from here is the more well-known restored Ottoman Late Era (1920-30s) neighbourhood of Hamamönü.

(I would be talking more about the neighbourhood when I went there in another video)
